Trip to Val Thorens booked for the end of March and looking forward to hitting the park there!!

I've narrowed my ski choice down to Salomon Suspects or K2 Extremes, I know there are prob better all round twin tips out there like the 4frnt MSP but budget is a factor and these 2 seem to get very good reviews for a reasonable priced ski.

Just looking for peoples opinions of the two and also if I go for the Suspects should I go 171 or 176?? Extremes would be 174.
(I'm, 82kg, 5'11'')

I'll ski pretty much whatever, confident on reds but will give tricky blacks, trees, pow etc a try if the conditions are good.

Loved skiing rental twin tips over the past few trips and have started getting more and more into trying park stuff.

All advice greatly appreciated.

Someone elsewhere on the internets suggested the Armada ARV, have you considered it? There are plenty others out there notably cheap offerings from Line.

I would suggest the AR6's are available from 'Freeze' in Edinburgh, they stock a few different skis including the 4FRNT STL which is another to add to your list!

I ski my ARVs almost all the time....

Just make sure the shop staff here you correctly whatever you go for - one young lad on our half term trip asked for a set of twin tips in the hire shop and got skis with a supermodel on them..........

Went through and had a look at freeze yesterday, very limited stock as they have 30% off at the moment.
Probably pick up some poles from there but the skis were a bit limited, sales guy was bigging up the Kung Fujas but don't think I want to go as fat as them.

Tanner Halls also looked good, think I just need to pick a pair and go for it, any more advice on the size?? 170ish or should I be looking at nearer 180. **vitals on original comment**

Sport Conrad are selling the T- Halls', all sizes. Not sure if this is a "good" price or not?

High 170s would be a bet. My park skis have been 175s and you have about 20kg on me.

The k2 extremes. I demo'd the suspects, they are not nearly as good as the extremes. The extremes are exactly the same dimensions as the public enemies ( they replaced the public enemies). The extremes do good in powder, jumps, and groomers/ hardpack. They are a little bit heavy but get the job done for sure.
