I'm still aching, sometimes just plain hurting , in my left shoulder and upper arm two weeks after loosing concentration and taking a fall at La Molina more than two weeks ago. Made me wonder, as we are into the second half, what damage have you done to yourself while on the white stuff this season? Like my lad said 'you'r too old for this' and like I replied 'too old to ache?' :-)

Sorry to hear about your aches and pains. I got a corn from walking to much in ski boots at Chritmas. Didn't look after it properly and it turned into an ulcer (very painful). Luckily it was a tiny one and it has healed now. Does that count as an injury? lol

Thanks for the sympathy. Last week, by way of snow therapy, I tried cross country skis for the fist time ever. I really enjoyed my day and the OH, who will not go downhill skiing, also had a ball. So not a total loss. I will go back to Andorra this weekend for some more cc skiing, and try and get on a mountain somewhere the following weekend. An ulcer sounds painful, but also not quite what I had in mind when posting :D

4x4 it hurts now, but you will heal, and you're still skiing which is what counts  Um, I appear to have thwacked a middle finger quite significantly whilst skiing, and not been aware of it until I stopped for the day. It was the last afternoon of my last trip, 30th Jan. The poorly finger was shades of purple and black and it still hurts. I did think I might have broken it, but it seems to be attached and working okay. Driving was interesting with one digit stuck out though

I managed to do something to my sciatic nerve on day 2 of my holiday at the end of January.
Loss of feeling to the underside of my left foot and toes.

Feelings are slowly coming back ... still have pins and needles feeling at times.

At least it didn't stop me from skiing.
