I found the J2SKI site a few months ago and as a relatively new skier have found the site very informative and the banter very entertaining, although have felt, at times that I am 'ear-holing' on private conversations between the 'regular' contributors.
I have often wondered when the site was set up, who runs/censors it, and 'who are yer?' - admin - Ian Wickham - Tony H - RossF - bandit - Pablo Escobar - Nelly PS - caron-a - ise - tino_11 - Rose R - Trencher - et al - cos you all seem to be posting throughout the day and don't appear to have proper jobs !
J2Ski - who are yer ?

And I'm everyone else and it is a full-time job impersonating so many odd, er, different personalities... 8)
...delighted that you've found it informative so far brandyaitch - we try to maintain a reasonable signal-to-noise ratio and I think we all get a buzz out of seeing "relatively new skiers" develop their addictions... if only because it makes us feel better about our own...
We had a This is Me thread a little while ago, which ran to an impressive 17 pages - and some of it was on-topic and interesting... ...but the best way to find out about us is just to get stuck in here really.
 In that case you did a cracking job with the 'Men in Lycra' post!

Oh god that's not good. I've only been on here for a matter of weeks and have become totally addicted (see time of post), I do have a job (believe it or not) and am currently sat at my desk where I really should be doing something more constructive, but I'm in early and don't officially need to do anything until 9am, so what do I do? I come on here and find that I'm included in post that suggests I'm on here all day

I am RossF and Pablo Escobar and Admin, I have nothing better to do as I am currently timetabled for 7 hours of University a week, as all my friends and family have real jobs/lots of uni to do so during the day when I should be reading books as thick as my arm I dabble on this.
I don't work apart from a little bit of instructing up north when it snows! Trying to fulfill every student stereotype possible. It also rains a lot in Scotland. I also struggle not to post if I see something that provokes a thought in my head.. so usually I just post it anyways (on topic or otherwise)
Generally we are just folks that can't get enough of skiing.
(we could keep this to one post a head and have a bit of an 'about me' section?!)
Edit 4: I have never met any one from the internet

I'm sitting here in not so sunny Cornwall waiting for a shop to open so I can get on with some repairs. As I work for myself, the hours I work and time available for J2Ski vary.

Well, so much for my catching up on posts - my boss is in early and has just given me about 10 pages of typing to do - how rude!
