Saw this place in the brochures. Has anybody been?
Sounds as though there are hotels near the lifts or hotels in the village. Its not clear how far apart these are, and if you are not in the village, is it walking distance in the evening?
Still trying to decide where to go late-March!

Why havent you booked Obergurgl yet?
Galtur is a dot of a place in terms of ski area, but you can get ski buses to Ischgl which has a superb ski area. Bit of a pain of a bus journey every day though.

Husband is not home till the weekend, so I can't make any decisions just yet. Just looking for an alternative in case Obergurgl plan goes pear shaped!
