Weather and Snow Next Week

There's a definite North-South split in the weather for the next week, more-or-less dividing along the main Alpine ridge.

Italian resorts will be generally basking under clear skies, as will many of their French counterparts - although the abundant snow won't be going anywhere soon as temperatures should remain low. Milder temperatures are likely to the far South, including the Pyrenees, where Spring conditions are possible.

To the North, there looks to be a good chance of significant snowfall early next week; with Northern Swiss and Austrian ski areas likely to see the best of the snow. It's just possible the snow may reach as far as the Northern French Alps but that seems a long shot.
