I've skied for many years, but know nothing about the technology of skis. Same as I have driven cars since I was 17 but know didley squat about them. I've been looking at a set Rossignol BANDIT SC74 Women skis, just wondered if anyone had used these and had some info

Cool
How do you think I got my nickname :D I still have my Bandit's....brilliant ski, but rather narrow by today's ski standards
It was ebay I saw them. Any suggestions. I do tend to stick to pisted areas on the whole, what with old age setting in and the previous knee probs, I've not got the bottle I used to have. Bearing in mind I'm only 5ft and 50kg. The skis I've got are really old, and they're not very wide. No idea what they are just that they are Elans and I need to give them a viking buriel.

Eljay, not used them personally, but I've just looked up the stats. They seem to be available on ebay, new. This often means that the mfr is dumping stock.
The ski itself looks good for low intermediate to intermediate lightweight skiers. It has a wood core, so it will last quite well.
It's narrow overall, so unless you are a skilled skier, then it won't float well in soft snow. Stick to the groomers, narrow waist.

Rather narrow indeed.
The range of skis are generally highly though of so i don't imagine you can go (far) wrong.
