Hi All.

My 1st post so please be gentle !

The family are going to Niederau on the 21st and I wanted some advice :)

Should i take the ski hire deal my travel agent has offered me or would I be better to do it with a company when we get there ?

I'm looking for 2 boards + boots + a pair of skis + boots for an adult + the same for a 4 year old.

Any other tips on Niederau would be great :)

Hi

Know nothing about the place but generally it's much cheaper to hire equipment online before you go - it's usually more expensive when you get there.

Have a look at skiset or Intersport and compare with whatever your travel agents is offering. Almost certainly more expensive in resort though.
Bon. Allez!

Between me and my son we will have 6 hours board lessons each on the snow at Xscape in Castleford, my wife had lessons 7 years ago in Banff but hasnt been on the slopes since .....

Here's the SkiSet link for you - http://niederau.skiset.co.uk/j2ski/

The SkiSet shop (Margreiters) is 50 yards from the main gondola base, and they'll look after your shoes during the day and will keep your boots warm at night - skis can be left there overnight also.
