Has anyone else noticed that the pound seems to be recovering a little against the Euro.
May be able to afford a few extra beers on our next jaunts to the mountains!!!!!!! :D

It would be very difficult to spend €400 here in the next 24 hours without buying something I really don't need
But hey, good news for you guys that still have to travel.

Hi,
The euro exchange rate has been a bummer for a while adding nearly 30% to the cost of most things over the last 12 months or so....but have had a result.
Unfortunately a friend of my mothers had gone on holdiday but became unwell ,and came home (full recovery and a speedy one thankfully) and never got a chance to spend them, they have been sitting in his cupboard for ages and informs me he is happy to let me have them at the rate he paid.. 1.23euros to the £ :Dresult, a small ray of sunshine and luck in these dark times
otherwise i would be looking at about 1.08 - 1.12 if lucky.
