It was awesome!! I have been up Mont Blanc and the altitude got to me at the top of the cable car - I can't imagine climbing even further up. Bad luck to Noel. Have met Graham a couple of times and he is a nice guy who earns my respect when I see the sort of stuff he does for these programmes. Ralph Little nearly getting killed was pretty scary in retrospect - his drop buddy looked scared. He looks to be a pretty good skier too - he can come and join our forum....

Really enjoyed it, spectaular photography.
Only concern is the lack of preparation apparent for the climb. Surely the programme is partly about respecting the mountains? If so how does attempting to climb Mont Blanc without any acclimatisation fit into this? They cover how dangerous altitude sickness is then show someone clearly suffering, struggling to climb a steep pitch at over 4000m.
I hope the rest of the series promotes best practise, they don't need to take un-necessary risks to make a great show.
The free-fall, that was awesome. Ed's comment that all he could do was swear, really summed it up.
Can't wait for next weeks.

I watched it a couple of hours ago (Sky+) Enjoyed it a lot. Got a feeling it was a sneaky way of not losing some of the features cut from Ski Sunday ;) (blatantly!)

I liked the way Ralph done the 10 foot drop only just because Graham fell :)

Have a look at this, explains why they have split Ski Sunday into two programmes, for once the BBC seems to have got it right.

Spot on Andy the old programme was stale, But what`s with the celeb thing ? Jody Kidd heli skiing who the hell wants to watch her. The BBC could spend their budget on something more constructive IMO.

Couldn't agree more :D
What is needed is a decent magazine programe about skiing/boarding - watching Dinger scare himself to death while hanging off a cable on a mountain peak doesn't interest me at all.
