Skiing between Geneva and Verbier?

Hello,

would anyone have suggestions where I could ski few hours on my way from Geneva airport to Verbier?

I am landing at 10:00 AM and I think that I would get more skiing done on the first day in some small resort on my way, rather than driving directly to Verbier, and then head for the Verbier after ski...

Sa all proposal as welcome, even small hills are big for somebody from Finland! Prefreably located with easy car access from the road Geneva-Verbier.

One place that springs to mind would be Leysin, turn off the autoroute at Aigle - That said, I would head straight to Verbier. By the time you get to Leysin or anywhere else, park your car, get a lift ticket etc. I'm not sure how much skiing you will get. Leysin - Verbier is only about 1 hour by car

Get to Verbier straight away, and take advantage of the FREE afternoons skiing you get, providing you are buying a 6 day pass.
We did it last year - I always said I wouldnt ski the day of travelling in case I was too tired, but when it came to it, and with it being free, I jumped at the chance, and had a great first afternoon and got way too drunk first evenings apres too.
