Advise on new skis

I have been searching for a decent review site, all I seem to find are press releases as opposed to honest reviews.

I'm looking to upgrade my skis, I rented a pair of Salomon Crossmax V 0 a few years ago and fell in love with them, does anyone know if there is anything out at the minute that is better or comparative? Are the Salomon X-Wing any good?

I am off to Utah in 2 weeks, any help would be appreciated

Lots of places to buy skis at decent prices in Utah. Also many rental places that have wide ranges of skis to try. Many stores have demo programs where the cost of rental is deducted from the sale if you buy. The best prices might be down in SLC, unless you are staying near a discount store like Sports Authority in Park City. Do some online research befor you go and invest a few pounds on some phone calls if emails don't answer your questions.

Reviews help, but the proof is in the pudding. Try befor you buy if you can.
