Learnt to ski (to snowplow turns) in Bulgaria last year and would like to go to a Scottish resort this year. I gather that Scottish snow is unpredictable but are any of the five options an obvious choice for this level keen to practice/learn more? Thanks.

I have never been lucky with snow north of the border, so the only place I have been able to ski has been the Lecht which was mainly ice and heather. Intermediate Europe beckons, 8)

Ive only been to Glenshee and Aviemore. I can only give you my opinion from what i remember 18 years ago, but I much preferred Glenshee to Aviemore. I found the runs at Glenshee to be much more suited to a more novice skier than Aviemore. That is just what I remember, dont quote me lol
