but they are lacroix darling....
and it's a complete set of course including “Courchevel Exclusive” skis, Lacroix Smartrack bindings, carbon ski poles, leather gloves, ski goggles and two leather pouches. Not only that but they are throwing in servicing and a 3V ski pass.
If you fancy them pop round to the Lacroix boutique in Courchevel but hurry, there's only 20 pairs. Get there quick and you could be the only non-Russian to own a pair.
for sale : new skis, 75,000 chf only

I would have thought so as well but apparently not
The couple are also known rather unkindly as "thick and thin". The wealthy Russians do seem to bring their own entertainment too, as evidenced by the rather large and well reported police bust last year.
Lacroix used to make rather good skis, I wonder if they still do.
Don't worry Caron, you would be there for the skiing, not the shopping!
Lacroix have a complicated history, there's two separate brands for skis, I've skied Lacroix skis on test and they were good, I don't beleive this is them.

I kind of guessed that might be the case.
Is Courchevel full of people who might actually buy those skis?

not been for an age, it used to be full of fairly rich people and I'm told it's full of Russians now and I read that Posh (?) and Becks go there so I guess the answer is yes.
