First week of the season - Arlberg

I have to commit to 3 rooms in few days for the 28/11 - 5/12 week.

I am being told that I'll lose my large advance payment unless the lift will not open.

My question is will the lift open even if the snow conditions will be really bad? Or else they will only be open if there will be reasonably enough ground with reasonable snow coverage.

Im off to Lech January 3rd. Cant wait!

Ok, no one on here is Michael Fish, and none of us have a crystal ball. If you go so early in the season, you are always gambling on the conditions. However, from what I can make out it looks like there is a good covering of snow, and they will be putting the canons on all day as its about minus 15 there at the minute. If the lifts open as planned, you will have no problems, as they wont open if its either dangerous or insufficient coverage.

Just make sure you leave some for me in January!
