skiing but not skiing??

Hello, thinking of going to livigno or les deux alpes with the outlaws! i think they really want to go and we really want them to experience the "skiing" type of holiday however, mother in law has a bad back and wouldn't be able to ski.

Are there any other activities within these resorts that can be done during the day to help pass the time?

Obvious one I can think of is drinking? :D

Dog sledding,
helicopter rides,
tobogganing (ish),
Walking,

any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the official LDA website links to non skiing activites were easy to find whereas on the Livigno site I struggled to find any.

Yeah found the links thanks, will just have to see what the in-laws think?

Don't forget LDA has a cable car link to the very pretty Venosc village.
