Your sophisticated accent will get a job as a waitress and the punters throw money at you (in the form of tips)...
You make so much dough over the weekend that mon-fri is left for mountain time...

i mite be working in a restaurant in tignes in the winter, i hv never skied hopefully i be a waitress. does any1 know what tignes is like, let me know. if i get the job is it good working in a ski resort

oooooo, definitely go for it! tignes is fantastic for snow and beautifully surrounded by mountains. nightlife leaves a lot to be desired but don't let that put you off because you'll find/make your own with your workmates.

I can tell you that it is great working in a ski resort. It plays a significant part in the University of Life!
Tignes is perfect from the point of view of snow conditions. You might not award too many points in the architecture department though.
So, if the job is offered, and you can't get a similar position in Niederau or Mayrhofen, then go for it.
Just one thing. Because of the job, your access to the slopes may be reduced to a couple of hours at a go. Make your mind up that this winter is one where you will learn to ski. You will meet many skiers, who will offer to give you a chance to learn to ski with them, (please don't be tempted by offers from boarders)
There is one aspect upon which you must decide. Work and skiing will occupy 99% of your energy. So you have only 1% remaining for socialising. Go for the work and ski, and keep a couple of bad weather days for the socialising.
So, by early April, you will be an Ace skier. N'est'pa?
