Got all the gear into the Landrover and myself, the wife and 10 other close friends are heading for the Alps tommorrow night :lol:

For about half of us, including me (but not the Mrs) it's our first trip away to the slopes.

Really looking forward to it :lol:

Have a great trip - it's shaping up to be a memorable April so enjoy; should be quiet slopes and heaps of snow. We'll be in Les Arcs; how about you?

Ah, I can see how that might have mislead everyone, there are 2 vehicles going one of which is a Landover 110 with most of the gear in it.

Hi All,

Looks like this has been a fab year for the white stuff,am off to BsM & Les Arcs on tuesday morning until the 15th for a nearly end of season blast.At this time of year there will be virtually nobody about(almost like having you're own private ski resort).

If anyone is thnking of having a last minute week,the skiing in Les Arcs ends on 26th April (last skiable day)and if you see more than 100 pople all week this will be crowded,also the lift passes are normally half price in the last week, and the last couple of years if you buy you're passes daily the final day has been free,if the forecasts hold true more of the fluffy white stuff is planned so should be good.

I will be the clown in the Technica icon boots,salomon skis,black salopettes and the 18 year old red and purple Berghaus fleece( does that make me sound like a tight sod?),if you see me say hi.

For all those that have been this season i hope you all had a safe ,enjoyable trip and the same to those of you planning a last minute one.To all those unlucky enough to have sustained an injury while in the mountains i hope you have a speady trouble free recovery (and not to let it put you off going again next season).
