Going out to Soll on Saturday and wandered if anyone can advise which of the Ski Hire shops are nearest to the gondala and if they allow you to store them after you have finished for the day.
Staying at the Eggerwirt and any other advice greatly appreciated.

Hi Smudger,
There is a higher shop with a garage storage facility for skis and boots and it’s very inexpensive. If you get there before all the skiers going for lessons you could then ride the button up to the gondola or there is a bus but it just goes at random times ( but quite regularly I think?) or if you’re feeling fit you can walk it takes about 5- 10 minutes!
Hope you have a great time I know I did (apart from my sore throat!) I could not believe how vast an area there was too ski, it’s wicked but advisable to go on guided tours to get used to the area as the map is a bit confusing.
