Does anyone know if it is poossible to get snow reports for resorts by morning/evening?

i.e when it says it will snow on the J2 report, is it night or day? :?:

Hi Iceman... currently, we indicate the most likely dominant weather for the daylight hours (as that's what you'll notice) but the estimated snowfall (cms) is for the full 24 hour period.

It's on our plan to add more detailed forecasts, probably for the next 48 or 72 hours, to give folks an idea of when the weather's going to do what. Not sure when that'll be available but hopefully before the end of this season.

...is that something y'all would find useful?

Would a "next 48/72 hour" breakdown of morning/afternoon/evening conditions be useful? All those in favour - say aye...

Perhaps more useful on j2ski.mobi because you would probably only want to know that sort of timescale/detail if you were at resort? Don't know, just a thought.

1. Aye - It would be good to know am/pm. 48/72 would be good, gives a feel of what to expect and when. I guessed sunny meant that it is sunny during the day rather than night
2. does j2ski.mobi exist?

Back on topic. Where it says -12, is that during the day then not night time minimums?

Iceman, metcheck.com gives temperature readings throughout the day.
