Hi all,
Been reading posts on here for ages in the hope of finding out info on Cervinia. Decided it was time I posted myself!!
17 of us going to Cervinia the last week in March. Big mix of abilities including 2 non skiers and 3, 6 yr old boys(we must be mad!!).
If any of you peeps have any useful info on ski school for kids, activities for non skiers and access to lifts for non skiers, it would be gratefully received. Also temperature wise - heard Cervinia EXTREMELY cold even that time of year - any info would be great.
Thanks from a newbie xx

been to cervinia mid march, and your right about the cold, which is more down to the strong winds the resort receives.if you ski over the top into zermatt the wind drops dramatically, also the views are so much better and the skiing is more challenging.

cervinia has some great long and wide cruising runs.
not sure about non skiing activities.
there is a large nursery area in the centre of the village.

all in all a decent resort with the advantage of skiing zermatt on the cheap.

I went to Cervinia as a first time skier last Feb. Have to say I went with a mixed ability group (12 people) and the pistes suited us all.
I booked the ski school through the holiday company but they were fantastic and by the end of the week I was happily skiing down the red runs in the resort. All the instructors were Italian with a fantastic command of English. They definitely push you to improve but at a good pace so that you don't become nervous. I would recommend them to anyone - www.scuolascibreuil.com
I didn't find it that cold over there but it was the second week of Feb (if it makes a difference..!?)
