Several lift pass issues to cover. Brochure lift pass looks a bit pricy when compared with on-line booking. So ~ has anyone had good/bad experiences with lift pass booking sites? Then sites offer different ages for Seniors pass. Is there a standard age rule for the Three Valleys? Also, one site warned that you may buy a three Valley lift pass, but have to pay a supplement to cover the Gondola up to Meribel.

Sorry to be a pain, but can anyone help with the on-line lift pass issues?

Hope that you had a great Holiday,
How did you fare with the lift passes?
we are staying at le Grande Chalet in Brides, this was booked prior to seeing the reviews on Trip advisor :-(
So please wish us luck, thanks.

Any other hot tips on Brides regarding eating etc we know that it is quiet and not much going off but that suits us just fine.

Thanks for your help in this respect.

Aeronic, thanks for the wishes. Yes it was a good visit. Snow good, lower slopes crowded, better up high, but poor viz and occasional high winds limited time at high areas. Best snow at Val Thorens. Chaviere Glacier was very special.

Didn't go for the on-line lift passes, no-one commented, so played it safe and bought in resort.

Did hire skis through ski-set. They claim 20% cheaper, but was same price as offered on coach by the rep. Also, although I do speak some French, there were communication issues with the ski fitter, who was also very impolite.

Can't help much with eating, was half board at the Amelie. Food mainly good, but Kangeroo steaks??? Several places to eat on the main street.

Ski well.
