Hello All,
Perhaps someone out there will know the answer.
We are going to Morzine over the New Year and are looking for childcare facilities for our 3 year old daughter.
We have looked at Jack Frosts, Cheeky Monkies, Club Piou-Piou and L'Outa nursery .... and I think we will settle on Piou-Piou.
Does anyone have any experience of P-P or know of any other places. We would like to include some playing in the snow for her and for it also to be English speaking.
Thanks
Russell

Hi Russell
I've got no first-hand experience but I know a little about them.
Club Piou-Piou in Morzine is operated by ESF. It's in modern accommodation at the bottom of the Pleney piste, and you can buy into different packages (e.g. with/without lunch, etc). Very convenient for taking the kids out to play in the snow, they've got all the facilities, and I've heard no issues with looking after the children properly, though English-speaking might be a bit hit and miss.
L'Outa is also French run, and I understand they've just re-built the accommodation. It's in the same area as Piou-Piou, across the road. I've heard differing reports is previous seasons.
Jack Frosts and Cheeky Monkeys are both British-run. They both come to your holiday residence, essentially providing nanny services, so I'm not sure they have their own accommodation now. They discuss your exact requirements in advance, take children out, usual kind of thing.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

RusSki, funnily enough we just booked last night to go for a long weekend to Morzine next March. We'll be taking our 4 year old so I'll be interested to hear how you get on with PP. I've looked into what is available and found the same companies that Alpine Pursuits mentioned. I thought PP looked good too but have concerns regarding the language thing. This will be a whole new experience for us as we've only taken our daughter to Canada so far. Ideally I'd like her to ski for a bit in the morning, then have lunch and then go into a creche in the afternoon for a few days. It looks like they might be able to do something like that at PP.

Hi There Geetee and thanks AP
We have settled on Cheeky Monkeys and are now working out what package we want. A little more expensive than P-P but there's an added flexibility and as AP says they come to you accomodation and of course speak English.
We go to Morzine over the New Year so I will be able to post to let you know my thoughts after we get back, but we're pretty comfortable with our choice.
Regards
