I have a pair of Salomon Performer 8's with the single Left-Right cuff adjuster on the side. I've realised tonight that my boots have been conspiring against me.

8 or so weeks ago an instructor said I should check the cuff adjustment as I'm bow legged. I had already adjusted them to what I thought was correct but to my amazement It appeared I had adjusted them in completely the wrong direction. The were readjusted and felt vastly better.

Tonight I looked at them again and to my amazement they were again incorrectly adjusted.

It now appears that over time the cuff adjustment, when adjusted for bow legged ie cuffs outwards, returns to it's cuff inwards position.

Might be worth checking if anybody else has similar boots adjusted in the same way.

When you adjust the canting the best way is to undo the allen bolt on the side of the boot, flex the boots a few times looking staight ahead with your feet in your normall stance. Then get someone to tighten the bolt back up while you don't move. I have found trying to do the adyustment by yourself is difficult as when you bend over to tighten the bolt the cuff moves out of position.
Hope this helps

Yes, I know the type you mean. With these particular Salomon adjusters there is no 'tighten or loosen' but just a 180 degree rotable adjuster. I think that's probably the problem.
