Hey, I've been skiing for about 4 years, I'm 19 right now and would say I'm an advance skier. The problem is I have owned only 2 pairs of skis, my first pair was a Christmas gift from when I was 14 which I destroyed from learning how to ski. Last year was the first time I have bought a pair of skis. I purchased the Atomic 9.18s with 4tix bindings and recieved a pair of cheap Salomon boots as a present.
Now here is my problem, I did a lot of skiing on these few months ago and now my boots has all these dents in them caused my bindings digging into them constantly. Salvaging the boots don't matter because I was planning to buy new boots soon anyways as these boots weren't that great but I used anyways because they were a present. But I don't want my new boots to be busted up like these Salomons. Do these bindings require a specific type of boots or do I have to adjust my bindings? Or is it something completely different?
Early thanks to anyone that can help.

Can you be more specific?
Where are the dents? What kind are they?
Locate interface surface on bindings are see what part of bindings does this!
I know the units you have and they do not damage ski boots!
If your boots are "cheaper" models with soft plastic the problem might be the boots!
Do you know how to check for the forward pressure level?
