Do you think I can find cheap ski's to buy in Tignes next week?

I know some people on here are based in Tignes, I was just curious, are there any ski bargins to be had in resort? and if so, which are the recomended shops?

I don't want to pay to hire some if I can buy some for not that much more money. The hire ski's are about 75Euro, but if I can buy some for less than 150Euro, I have made my money back in 2 trips!!

150 Euro might be a bit of a small amount for skis!!! i would have thought £150 would be too low a price to!

150 euros in second hand possibly, but not sure they'll last more than 2 seasons ! If it's your first time skiing i really would advise to wait and see.

There is a lot of skis for any experience and any skill. If you really want to appreciate, wait to know how you feel and what you expect from skis.

The rental is good when you are a beginner and go away once a year, you'll always have new models and you can try different skis as you get better and have more technique.

I was just getting a bit obsessed with wanting my own skis after seeing a nice pair for £175 in London.

But you are right, I should wait until I know more about my own ski style !
