Why oh Why have they stopped selling ski passes online at Les Gets? Do they know something that I don't and will I still be able to buy them in the resort?

Help!

Don't panic Pete! They stopped selling them online because they will have had to change the price on a daily basis due to the deteriorating snow conditions and the fact that the number of runs & lifts open has been reducing daily. (This happened when I was there a few weeks ago).

You will be able to buy them once you get there, & looking at the forecast, things should be getting much, much better. Remember much of Les Gets is on pasture land so it doesn't need a lot of snow to be skiable.

Is there room for me on the fun bus? I was in Les Gets for 2 weeks & had to ski at Avoriaz every day so feel that I've missed out. Have a great time & because I'm not in therapy yet, I will be checking out the webcams & forecasts on a daily basis!! :?
The plan is.... there's no plan!

Plenty of room on the fun bus!! We hire out what's called a splitter van each year. A splitter bus is a van for the music industry (bands and the like) with the back 5 foot boarded off for drum kits, amps (and ski's) and the rest with seats and tables.....

Inside you have 10 seats with dual plasma screens and PS2. Perfect for a long drive.

I am in the process of building a site for these guys to advertise their vans to us lot as well as the bands.

Thanks for the info on the ski passes I had a bit of a moment!

To anyone heading off to Les Gets (ie Pete in his fun bus), my friend Willi has just rung me from there & he says it's fab & the best day skiing so far this season! 30cm of fresh snow, cold & sunny - what more could one ask for? Just wish I was there too :(
