Quick question guys which might sound silly, but here it is.

Do you get ski goggles in different sizes?

Reason I'm asking is because I have just been to go out doors to collect some I had ordered and in there I saw another pair I liked. But there were two different prices, one said Oakley 02 XM and another said 02 XL. The shop assistant didn't know and said that they only come in one size and the XL wasn't in stock so we couldn't compare the two.

Now if this is the case I have probably been wearing the wrong size googles all these years because they never seem to fit right...

Do you wear a helmet? If yes, I consider it fairly important that both helmet and goggles are bought at the same time (or you take along your existing helmet when choosing new goggles). I bought a new helmet and goggle combo 3 years ago and must have spent an hour trying on all sorts of different combinations and manufacturers until I got the best fit.

I don't think green salopettes will offer much protection for your head in the event of a fall . Having suffered a concussion after a completely innocuous low speed fall a few years ago, I now regard a helmet as an essential piece of kit .
