Not for me (honest, mine said yes already) but a friend. He is thinking of proposing to his girlfriend whilst on their skiing holiday. Her second trip. He is quite confident on the slopes. I don't think he can afford helicopters or anything like that.

Does anybody have any wacky/romantic/funny/memorable ideas for them? :D

If they are going to a resort with a Folie Douce. It would be great if he could get them to write the proposal on the large screen, while they are listing to the music.

Get the Ski Patrol in on it. Have him fake an injury the requires a ski Patrol transport. Then work the proposal in at some point.

Or a great spot high on a mountain with an awesome view, a backpack with some wine and favorite snacks..... and someone to take the picture.

Second idea is probably better.

Female perspective - don't go for the big screen idea, most girls won't think that very special. Keep it personal - I like the idea of a backpack with a picnic and wine! A sleigh ride would be great from a female perspective, we married in Banff and had a sleigh ride after the wedding or an apres skidoo trip to a secluded spot where someone has been and set it up with champagne and candles!
