Hi
New to the forum. My partner and I are going to Courchevel on the 20th this month and are wondering can anyone recoment a good ski hire shop and a good instructor or ski school. We are intermediate skiers with relativley good tehnique but mised our annual ski hol last year and would like to brush up on tehnique. All help much appreciated.
Thanks Ter :)

If you go to Prestige Ski Hire they look after you well and deliver.
Lessons are good with First Tracks. Have a private lesson so once you've brushed up on your skills they will take you somewhere great rather than having to wait for the rest of the class to catch up...

Our partners, SkiSet, will give you a minimum of 20% discount if you pre-book. They have about a dozen shops in Courchevel so there should be one to suit. See our page Ski Hire in Courchevel for details.

For ski hire the "Ski Set" folks in Courchevel 1850 are tops.
For ski lessons
The people in the small ski schools are great for private lessons in native english. For class lessons the big schools (ESF and ESI) have native english speakers and are also less expensive.... always insist on "Native English speakers" when possible as it is not just a question of language skills it's also a cultural aspect and important when learning.

greetings
we hired a guide last year that was fantastic at both taking us all over the resort (which as you know is massive), including off pisted, but also was a very knowledgeable ski instructor
it was expensive but awesome, for more info, post a note and I will get it to you, John
