Ski trousers alterations

Does anyone know of or could recommend somewhere that could alter wife's new ski trousers in the Surrey/Hants/Berks area. She needs legs shortening and doesn't feel able to do the work involved with removing and putting back zips, etc.

Just a thought, but has your wife tried on the new salopettes with her ski boots on and are they still too long? Would it be possible to replace zips with Velcro to make the resewing job easier?

She's got British non-standard legs!! Velcro is a thought - I'll give a vino or two later & suggest that she consider DIY. I do however fear a negative response & some verbal abuse directed at stupid manufacturers who never think about short legs!!
