Snow near florence in December?

I will be staying in florence in mid december 2014. what is the nearest ski resort that will actually have snow - guaranteed- around that time that i can visit?

To guarantee snow in December even in January or Feburary you need to be much further north. You might be lucky but don't hold your breath. There are a few small resorts near you but none have snow at present.
