Snow in Italy in dec 1st week

We will be reaching Italy (Rome) on November 29th and had the following queries for experiencing snow

1. whats the best place where we can play around and walk a little in snow
2. We have never done skiing, is that something we can learn quickly in a day and enjoy the next 2 days
3. Are there any chances of fresh snow anywhere in Italy that we can experience

We are in Italy for 8days and plan to visit Rome & Florence for remaining 5days.

any luck in finding snow near florence or rome? i am spending a week in these cities mid of dec and all i want is to take a walk in little snow.
