Hi. I had a pair of Salomon Siam 5 ladies skis until the airline did some damage so looking for replacements. The Siam 5s suited me as I am not very tall (5ft 3in) or heavy (about 55kg)and I prefer a lightweight and easy to manage women's ski. I hired some Atomic Cloud 6s which were generally fine but I noticed side to side tip vibration on a very icy blue slope (not going particularly fast) and also when shushing faster on a red (again a bit hard and icy). Is this what is called 'chatter'? I had never noticed it on my Siam 5s. Have been looking at Salomon Origins Pure White and wondered whether they would feel similar to the Siams. I mainly ski on-piste but had fun this year on 'just off-piste' powder and moguls. I am not an aggressive skier. Has anyone skied the Siam 5 and the Pure White? Would appreciate some comparison. Thanks.

You didn't mention what ability level you're at but assuming you are an intermediate (apologies if you are expert but you wouldn't be asking the question if you were) rossignol unique 4 are what my wife skis on. A nice light lady ski, , good turn initiation you don't have to work them too hard. Ideal for short to medium turns with a rockered tip for going through a bit of the slushy stuff these are perfect on piste skis for the intermediate/upper intermediate looking to take it to the next level.
Hope this helps.

Yes, intermediate. Thanks for the recommendation, trying to compare the range across different makes at this level is somewhat confusing, it's good to get opinions from other skiers.
