Just bought some at last but it was an impulse buy so didn't research it very well - was at the mercy of the young (very well informed) lad in Snowfit Norwich.
Anyone like them?
All I know so far is they are slow on dry slope!
But if they give me added control that can only be a Good Thing :) There were some comments from instructors at the ski club about them being wide and someone called them 'bloomin planks ' haha
(they were too wide to fit in their bench slots in the changing room!)
I said I wanted an on and off piste ski and this was described as a good all mountain ski.
Any thoughts?

You should use a special kind of wax for dry slopes, but I would seriously say test them out at a snowdome to save further damage.

I didn't know you were an expert skier! I am most impressed!
I'm not sure you should be trying them out on a dry slope. I'm sure someone on here said dry slopes are bad for skis! Snowdomes are OK though - because the snow is pretty much like real snow :)

Haha clearly I'm not an expert although it always amuses us in Scotland when we use lifts that say 'experts only' for blues and reds. (probably only refers to the sometimes hazardous lift up that you feel like you are skiing up sometimes and is harder than the ride down.
I wanted an all mountain ski and this is what they came up with. (had a good reduction)
What do you think? Would appreciate an opinion I know no body in the ski world .

Thanks ian. I know the club entrance fee covers club skiis so that would be no problem but I was hoping to get used to my new skiis there. Not much point really as they dragged a lot on the dry slope and were just frustrating. Thanks for the offer though,

I am going to use their skis from now on at the club. Do you go on a Friday?
Where is our nearest snowdome?
Cheers,
