Will be in Nurnberg for Toy Fair the last week of Jan and first week of Feb. Would like to get away for a day of skiing but have no idea where. Anything close, say 2 hr drive or less? Thanks in advance for all the advice.

Try the 'Grosser Arber' Area just north of Zwiesel.

I was skiing there in Feb 1972 and so was Conrad Bartelski. He was in a Euro slalom race & fell at the top.lol
I wonder if he remembers that one?

Hey Andrew. Did you have any luck finding out if there is anywhere close to Nuremberg to have a days skiing...? I am visiting same fair and have the same idea..

The Grosser Arber is still a great skiing area.....
