Hi! We have a group of 8-14 people that have booked time off to go 2nd March for a weeks skiing.

We are looking for a catered chalet with en suite rooms at any of the places below. Val thorens is possibly favourite. I was wondering if anyone knows of any private ones or websites advertising them within sensible distances to the slopes that we could book direct?

There are some great deals online but they always include flights and we would like to drive so we can stop off for a days skiing on the way somewhere else if we want.

Morzine
Meribel
Val Thorens
St Anton
Val d'isere

Thanks!

Try the following:-
http://www.merinet.com/accommodation/chalets.html for Meribel
http://www.valthonet.com/accommodation/chalets.htmlfor Val Thorens

The resortnet.com websites cover most of the main French resorts and list independent accommodation.

Good luck!

Many tour operators will allow you to deselect the flights which then gives you a price just for accommodation.
I can see my house from here...
