9 of us will be arriving in Munich on 13/12/12. Any advice of the cheapest transfer between Munich airport and Mayrhofen?

I hired a car when I flew into Munich. You can probably rent a minibus which would be cheaper than booking transport I bet.
Alternatively take the train towards Innsbruck and get off at Jenbach and take the little toy train up the valley. Should cost you something like 60 euros return.
Remember you need to take the local train from munich airport to the main Hauptbahnhof first.
I'd grab a car myself as you can tour the valley when you're there easier.
