Pretty much anyone will sell you the holiday!
Whether that is an apartment or staying in a chalet or hotel.
Even the 5 stars in Courchevel won't turn you away after a week.

All you need is the space on your credit card.......

If I could afford a month away skiing I'd be tempted to make use of the Swiss railway service and have a few days each in a few resorts rather than spend a month in one place. :)

I'd contact a local letting agency in the resort I want to visit. Book locally, and after a couple of weeks rental, the price will drop, leaving you more spends -)

If you are spending more than 2 weeks in a resort, you may benefit from buying a season ticket, do the research.

I have done this a few times, for 4/6 weeks. My OH viewed it as "skiing out of a suitcase". Did I care? Switzerland, Italy, Austria. I loved it, but not easy, since I would ski the whole day, then jump out of my ski boots into the Range Rover.

Great ski time, fraught with matrimonial strife!

Offshore, many of the season regulars will have good knowledge, but located in diffeent places. I can help in Tirol, Bandit in Switzerland, and so on.

Picking up Bandit's point, in Tirol you can buy an season passes for an area, or the AllStar Pass, (loads of resorts), or Tirol.

You can base in lots of different valleys. Best if you have a your own transport, but you can move around easily by Postbus/train.

I agree with Dave Mac ..Austria lends itself to this There is the Salzburger land pass as well..

I am doing it in a slightly different way this year..I'm driving out and I've booked week (on the j2ski group} meeting a friend in L2A for week to ...might take advantage of a possible cheap deal in Le Arc for week three and for week four I will see how I feel...it will be interesting
