Snow??

You got four weeks yet - and that's time enough for a big change in the weather. The forecast is for Soldeu to stay pretty mild for the next week at least - which takes us to the end of November. :(
Keep everything crossed!

A fair amount of snow is falling this week but it's still relatively warm across the Alps (freezing level sticking around near 2,000 metres). The forecast for Andorra is not promising right now.
Best bet at the moment is probably Austria - and make sure you go high.
Check all the snow reports and keep an eye on the forecasts but a flight to Salzburg or maybe Innsbruck should give you some options. You shouldn't have any trouble finding somewhere to stay at that time at least.

Does this mean that there won't be snow on 17th December? That's when we arrive in Soldeu.... I'm hoping we actually get to snowboard some!

Hi,
Check out our site - there are local snow reports and forecasts linked from the home page for a break in the French Pyrenees - we are about 1 hour from Pas de la casa (part of the Grand Valira ski region)
Not much snow around at the moment but if you keep an eye on the reports you can call us for a last minute break
Prices include airport transfers, catered accommodation and guiding if required.
Regards
Sarah

Hi??.am keeping a watchful eye on the weather in Austria, chiefly the resort of Zell am See. Current snow reports for Austrian are given various snow depths but has somebody or can someone let me no if there will be a dump of snow for the 13th of January as we are heading there at that time, thanks for any help... as the nerves are started
