Please Help!! Salomon Tornado Ti PL bindings

Hi guys! I've found myself in big trouble and need your help. Not long ago, I have purchased a pair of brand new skis on Ebay that came with no bindings. The skis are : Salomon Tornado Ti PL 180cm. I had never purchased any skis before and had no clue that these skis have to be purchased with the binding system. I thought that I would simply buy new salomon z12 bindings and get those mounted on the skis. Well I have purchased separate bindings and went to a ski shop with them today to get them mounted.

I was explained by the ski shop technician that the salomon bindings that I had purchased would not fit on the skis. The ski shop owner tried to call Salomon and see if they could help with the bindings but Salomon said that since the skis were sold on Ebay, they would not deal with me and besides that, even if I was a legitimate ski dealer it would be almost impossible for them to find bindings for those skis!! I was shocked to say the least. I Have just learned that buying skis without bindings is like buying a left shoe without the right one.

The question that I have for you guys is what can I do in this situation? I realize that I am probably stuck with a useless pair of skis.

The ski shop technician told me that I need specific x wing System Bindings which are not easy to come by.

He also showed me another Salomon bindings: K Z11 B90. He said that these bindings would fit my skis but that they are unable to sell them to me separately, which I assume means that I would have to purchase another skis with bindings and get those installed on my Salomon Tornado Ti Pl.



What are your suggestions guys? Your help is greatly appreciated!!
