In my younger days i was to be regularly found at the local airfield skydiving away but that ended with when Mrs Snapzzz came along.
Since then the closest i have come to being back in the sky was my big 5m kite (sadly gone) and now just my 3m kite.
Speedriding looks like it really could fill a gap for me.
Do you fancy it?
who fancies SpeedRiding?

I have several friends that kite ski and board. Mostly they do it on the frozen lakes in the winter. I guess the closest sport that might be practical in the UK would be kite boarding on a wake board on lakes. Is that what you do with the 3m kite?
Are you just looking for an adventure sport, or kite specific?

I only get my kite out now for a bit of fun, when its gusting it drags you all over the place and gives you a bit of a work out.
I used to fly the bigger ones but my old 5m lifted me about 15ft and dumped me down hard nearly breaking my hip so I'm more cautious now.
I have friends that kite surf but its not something i ever though about doing to be honest.
Now speed riding really appeals to me as you can get airborne for longer and its the flight that i like. I have thought about paragliding or even skydiving again but I'm not sure the mrs would go for it.
I was wondering if there are schools that run week long courses.
