Can anyone give me any pointers on where to go around 12 of April for few days snowboarding, and where's best with shortish transfers I can travel from nearly any uk airport.

Thanks in advance

3 valleys - nice and high, 3 hour transfer but good snow.

Avoriaz - 1.5 hour transfer. Not sure about snow mid April though

I reckon to go somewhere with good snow at that time of year you will not get away with a 'short' transfer

Just my opinion, not based on fact ;)

Go somewhere higher than Avoriaz and the PDS. It's raining here. Still snow up top and a bit more forecast but I don't expect to be doing much skiing by the 12th.

Chamonix Grand Montets. If you look at web cams and snow reports (www.chamonix.net), looking good. 1hr from Geneva. Am sure is spring conditions but definitely plenty left on ground.
