Hi

Has anyone had any experience of this firm?

www.snowcoach.co.uk

They offer a pickup service near our house and Im considering them for next season ( this season is booked already with another firm ) .

cheers

Gavin

I only know of them from working seasons and hearing of them being local in resort, only ever heard positives about them, as long as you don't mind being on a coach for a loooong time.

It isnt the loooooong time on the bus that would concern me....I will sleep like log :)

I just wondered how they 'control' others on the bus. Drunk passengers could be a pain in the a*se.

We normally drive, but £100 return by coach is value for money, plus I think we can ski for 8 days??

I've been on snowcoach. I had no problems at all, in fact they picked us up from right outside my house.

On the first leg of the journey there was only us on the coach. The second (main) part of the journey it was 3/4 full. There were people drinking alcohol us included. But it wasn't party time it was just a couple stiff ones to help us to sleep.

It was very quiet when the lights went out...I think generally people are respectful of others and I am sure if anyone had been roudy the coach driver would have told them off swiftly.

I was very impressed with the service and value for money. My Hubby however has much longer legs than me and says he would never go by coach again because of the length of time and lack of leg room.

Hi Snowb4andit,
Thanks for your response!
Did you ski on the saturday, or were you still tired from the journey? Also, could you get in your accommodation on the saturday morning, or did you have to wait until late in the afternoon?
cheers

We skied when we got there and I think we couldn't get into our rooms but were able to dump our bags etc. Our accommodation wasn't booked through Snowcoach.
