My family is considering a ski trip to Are Sweden in April 2007. We ski challenging mountains in the US and BC. Will Are offer challenging enough terrain or a mostly low angle experience? In a decent snow year what are the April snow depths?

Hi,
Are isnt known for its large snow depths unfortunately. Although its season does last for a long time. (April should be good). In April last year Are had 78cm on the upper slopes and 46cm down on the lower ones. This was the highest depth of snow for the whole season, so its nothing compared to the US resorts that you must be used to!
