I was meant to be in Solden this week, but had to cancel due to slow recovery from an achilles tendon injury.

Was feeling the pangs of disappointment until I looked at the website today and saw storms that have closed all but two nursery slope lifts. So just a little bit relieved I'm not there at the moment! )

The good news is that I'm booked for the first week of March and recovery is right on track!

Lota,
I hope you have recovered well.
Take time to heal this,,since it can be very very painful!

Soon you will be skiing!

Strangely, it's never been very painful - just unbelievably awkward and weak. Calf muscle now getting stronger every day after wasting away inside plaster cast and orthopaedic boot!

Trust me, Icey, tendonitis is nothing like a ripped tendon!!!

If I hadn't been a a highly-tuned athlete in the first place, I wouldn't have done it!

Hoping to have a test slide at Milton K, Hemel or Gloucester (at a push in the next three weeks)
