Salomon Allium 08 Helmet

Hey All,

This might be a little too specific but any help will be of use.

I have decided to buy a Salomon Allium 08 Custom Air Helmet. I know the differences are minimal, but model 127107 (Black with yellow accents) and model 127110 (black with white accents) are the ones I'm considering.

By the enlarged photos on the website, it looks like the piece covering the ear is different. Does anyone know the difference between the two ear pieces? and are they significant?

Can't help specifically, but I have found different ear pieces make quite a difference. I like ear pieces that have foam around the ear, but have only a thin layer of material over the ear. The material allows almost unimpeded hearing whilst still keeping the ears warm. Any foam directly over the ear muffles sound.
