Hi

Need anew pair of skis. I am mainly a piste man but may go walkabout if I get lost off the beaten track.

I am an average skier at going at an easy tempo.

Went shopping yesterday and the above were mentioned for my level.

Any thoughts from you whizz kids out there?

I haven't tried it, but it looks like a great ski for your purposes. All the manufacturers now have 80mm + - waisted ski with almost race spec construction. The differences are in the side cut design and radius, and the camber profile. Unfortunately ski manufacturers don't give details of their side cut designs,; you can only go by the radius. These ski have an midrange radius that would be easy to use on piste, but not too turny. They have some tip rocker for easy turning, and a generally easier ride. Two metal layers which make for a damp ski that will hold an edge over ice and chop.

The only way to really know is to demo, but on the specs, it looks very good.
because I'm so inclined .....
