I am going skiing with my dad this year like I have for the past 20 years - sad I know but we have a great laugh!! :D

Anyway, this year my dad turned 70 and is still loving the skiing. I know many resorts to discounted ski pass at 65 and free over 75.

Many of you guys have seen a lot. So how old is the oldest person you have seen skiing/boarding :?:

Theres a guy in Mayrhofen I'm told is in his 70s. Its not his age thats such a feature as his daily routine: he skins up (his skis, not a phat one) and walks up the Ahorn Abfahrt, then skis it down in about 4 minutes. And then does it again. And again. Every day. His calves are as wide as my chest.

I ski regularly with a guy in his 70s, I have to keep reminding myself that he is that age because you would guess.
If I'm still skiing as well as he does at that age I'll be more than happy!

My mentor skied until he was 110!
He is a legend in my part of ski land having;
-opened ski trails to masses
-promoted outdoor skiing since 1960's
-created yearly skiers meetings
-taught me how to camp out in winter

His name ( given to him by the local trappeur indians) Jack Rabbit because he moved about on his skis so fast!

The trick is to keep fit. Ski everyday. Eat fresh foods. Think young.

He beats all other skiers I know!
Now I ski with his girl who is a Director of a Wildlife Reserve near my home! I ca hardly keep up with her!
