As related elsewhere... Max is heading North just as temperatures are about to plunge. At his present rate of progress I guess he'll reach the Alps in about a week, maybe less.
So, any great ideas for saving this, er, harbinger of Spring?
If all skiers keep an eye out for him, maybe we can turn him back. As soon as he's sighted head up the highest peak. If we all wear mirrored sun-glasses we could deflect him! Simply look in the direction of the Stork, then the Sun, then find the mid-angle...
Max will hopefully be so startled by the flashing (!) from the Alps he will turn round and go back to Africa til the snows melt properly.
So, kit yourself out with trendy mirrored shades and save-a-Stork next week!

Save the Stork! Max flies into a Storm???

In previous years he's not hung around in Spain but now he's obviously a bit confused. Should get himself a decent calendar watch.

Just an update... Max appears to have stopped for a rest in the middle of Spain - very wise given the renewed cold temperatures... meanwhile, here in Sunny Kent, the first swallows have appeared and the Bluebells are sprouting. So, that's it for the season! Eh? Where's the snow?
