a weekend in paris ... would like to go for skiing.. never done before

Hi friends...

I will be in Paris for some days and have a weekend. so, I would like to go for skiing. I have never done skiing before. please suggest me some good nearby and not so expensive places. Also tell me how to go about it. Do i need to making a booking in advance or i can simply go there? Is one weekend sufficient for skiing? and if booking is required then whom shall i get in touch with and how?

I have no clue of anything. Just help me with all the information considering my zero knowledge on skiing holiday weekend in france.

Hire a car and drive down to Geneva and there are plenty of resorts an hour from Geneva

You will need to have some form of instruction plus equipment hire, as well as accommodation. Use this website to have a make a shortlist of resorts that you like the look - and then get researching. The internet is a wonderful tool - I wished there'd been something like it when I started skiing!

When you get a shortlist come back here and ask for info or help. There are loads of people on here that will be able to help out!
